Write it/ Stamp it

Students build each word next to the word on the worksheet out of letter tiles, and with the letters that are left in the bucket, they try to make a real word out of it. 

Write the room using clipboards or student journals.

Using pattern cubes, have students form sight words.

Word Wall guessing game: Teacher thinks of a word off the word wall.  She gives clues to help the students decide what the word is.  Each clue will narrow down the choices such as “It’s a word that only has three letters.”
